You taught me
To receive Christ's love
With our hearts and our minds
Your love came from the Lord
Evident in the way that you lived
I miss the light around you
You gave us undivided attention and love
You talked adoringly of the Lord
Rejuvenating and illuminating those who would hear
You were an example
Of what it is to offer ourselves fully, daily
You relished with wonder and delight God's infinite wisdom and abundance
You lavished us all with joy and abandon
An overflow of light
You have since entered that Light
God welcomed you to Him with an overflowing love
In and to that love we find courage to let you go
Keeping only the light and love in our hearts
Where Christ eternally lives
