Can I just have a moment?
The clock will stop its annoying chime;
Sunshine will stream down and the rain just stop;
Breeze rustle the leaves around;
Just stop and listen to nothing;
Close eyes and replay times gone by.
*
Bright red gushes make the whiteness yield,
Stabbing through normality,
Destruction of the plans beginning to form,
The fortress falls to the floor,
Love what is lost.
*
The clock will stop its annoying chime;
Raindrops pummel the ground as the clouds darken;
Wind whistles through the desolate space;
Just stop and try not to listen to the emptiness;
Open eyes and force the memories to cease.
*
Months pass and words don't form,
Life moves on because it can not stop,
New feelings bleed into the sadness,
Slowly the smile doesn't have to be painted on,
Pain gnaws more softly.
*
The clock will stop its annoying chime;
Drizzle falls slowly through the greying clouds;
Breezes rustle the leaves in the background;
The emptiness becomes less scary;
Keeping eyes open watch the way life may open up.
*
Looking forward to new opportunities,
Starting afresh a clean break needed,
Embrace love blossoming,
Try to open up and share,
But withhold that one dark secret.
*
The clock will stop its annoying chime;
Puddles are all that's left after the rain;
Breeze rolls gently in from a new shoreline;
Light fills the landscape dismissing shadows;
Eyes wide with anticipation.

Finding Me
I am not holding on to pain or sorrow
I’m letting go so that I can face tomorrow
Continuing the way I was
Stuck ...
Stuck between a rock and a hard place.
In all the politics of this nasty rat race.
Where
by Holly M.
I guess I will be okay
Someday
And in front of you I will cry
But not tonight
Because I want to behave
And my heart wants to
Time to Heal
Even after all these years,
It's still too hard to forget,
All the misery, all the tears,
And all the pain
