being entirely financially supported by their religious community. In addition, many humans are no longer afraid of coping with the spirit realm on their own. They have become fascinated with the "paranormal" and extra sensory perception talents other individuals have had the courage to display. They actively seek out the ancient ways of receiving divine guidance, such as tarot readings, rune stone readings, aura readings, palm readings, numerology readings, and dream interpretation.

However, these seekers no longer know how to treat the person doing the reading. Most are not aware of all the mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical work that is involved in a reading. Most are not aware of the delicate balance that must be maintained in each person's life. Each person can only give so much without having to fill the void of what has been taken. It may be easier to think of it this way: start with a $1,000 in your bank account, then take just a little bit of money out each day, say $1. Do not deposit any money into that account, ever again. How long do you still have money in the bank that you can use for other things? Each person becomes a big void if not given something in return for what is taken, no matter what plane of existence.

Many people think that the psychic receiving some spiritual reward in place of a physical reward maintains this balance. In some instances, this may be true. However, in today's world, the psychic, just like most spiritual leaders and healers, must provide for their own physical well-being. Therefore, the spiritual reward will not help them survive physically. A spiritual reward does not pay the rent, buy food, or pay for other necessities. If a psychic is expected to stay connected to the spiritual realm for long periods, then someone needs to be providing for that psychic's physical needs, whether through monetary donations or through other suitable gifts.

Another thing to consider is that time can never be replaced. Everyone has some special gift, talent, skill, or ability that is valuable to others humans. No one gift, ability, or skill is more or less important than another is! So if you would not want someone expecting you to give of yourself freely, do not expect them to give of themselves freely either! No one life is more valuable to the human race than another one is. Moreover, time is a very precious commodity for every living being, so if you are going to use up someone's time, then you should amply compensate him
