Should you pay for a psychic reading? If you need to ask this question, then you may need to ask yourself if you are ready for a reading. Do you just want a reading for the sake of curiosity, or are you seeking answers to specific questions? If seeking solutions to problems, or asking specific questions, then how much of a response are you expecting to receive through a psychic reading? Knowing the answers to these questions should tell you whether to pay or not pay for the reading.
While many people have their first reading done merely out of curiosity, almost all who have readings repeatedly are looking for spiritual guidance. They are looking for answers to specific questions or solutions to problems, and want divine advice. These individuals are feeling lost, confused, or completely helpless and that only a higher, more powerful being can help them. These people are having conflicts of mind, heart, spirit, and emotions that may make them waiver between wanting to know the truth, and wanting the safety of ignorance. These people have usually reached the point of not trusting their own mind or heart to give them the right solutions. Thus, the psychic reader must be good at doing more than making spiritual connections.
The reader must also be good at all forms of communication, listening attentively without judgment, be very observant, be well versed in human behavior, and be good at keeping confidentialities. Most of the time, in order to answer the inquirer's questions, the reader needs to ask both the seeker and the spirit the right questions. The psychic must be able to determine what the person really wants to know, make a decision on what form of divination to use, and decide on how to word the request for guidance. Then the reader has to make a spiritual connection, receive the divine message, interpret the message, relay the message to the inquirer, and assist the individual in interpreting the answer, while maintaining the connection to the spirit realm. Quite often, the spirit wants to address an issue that is on a much deeper level than the seeker was prepared to face. Moreover, often the spirit response is not something the person wanted to hear. At other times, the individual's reaction is "But I already know that!" It really is amazing how much a person can know, but refuses to apply to his or her life!
No matter what, the psychic needs to be able to give appropriate counseling and nurturing to the seeker. Therefore, although a person who asks
