YOURS FOR THE TAKING
A daily adventure, a burden to bear,
A terrible journey, beginnings and endings.
A gift to be cherished, with nothing to fear
But missing out on the chances life's sending.
Be flexible, take every moment that comes
Your fortunate way. As you travel the one road
Of life. They may only be offered just once,
Small diamond times, lights to lift the load.
See life as a load, then the vision is skewed,
Let enlightenment in and exalt
In the newness of challenges. Viewed
For their value, solutions result.
A small blink in the eons of eternal time,
Insignificant, one life, many, or all.
Magnificent, humble, your life or mine,
Worth living, worth grasping, big and small.
