Should a woman have the right to choose abortion? How else could we restate that question? Should a woman have the right to get rid of the problem which is putting inherent responsibility into her life? What is wrong with getting rid of some "pregnancy tissue"? Or a blob of goo in your stomach?
The heathen peoples of many years ago used to sacrifice their babies to idols. What a sad day it was for this "politically correct" world when we fell into the same demise. Sacrificing our children to the god of self and idol of "my rights." But, we're not sacrificing babies, you say. We're sacrificing "fetuses." I'm rather confused and would love somebody to clear this up for me. At what stage does a child graduate from "fetus" to "human being"? The second the little head hits the air? No. That would make problems for partial birth abortion. When the whole baby is officially born? We aren't making any sense, people.
Should a woman have the right to choose abortion? Why stop there? Why doesn't a man have the right to choose abortion. What if the father decides he doesn't want to carry around the responsibility or the guilt that he's got a child out there somewhere. Why can't he just say, "Well, I don't want it, so... just throw it away."
I can hear the women saying, "It's my body!" Ooohhh. But... here's the catch. It isn't your life. Shall I repeat that? IT ISN'T YOUR LIFE! You have as much right to terminate that pregnancy as you do to randomly shoot someone. Since when did the mothers of the world reduce themselves to the same level of that drug addict murderer on skid row?
Put yourself in the position of that little child whose fate you think you have the right to decide. Your mother and father are having relationship problems as well as financial struggles. Having a kid just adds to that stress. You are deaf and mute. You're locked up in a closet inside your home. You don't really know what's going on. But just outside that door your own mother and father are considering murdering their own child. It would help so much to get rid of this burden which they so foolishly created. So they do. They murder their helpless baby.
But that's wrong! Why? Because the child was already born? So being a human being is not enough to defend a child's life? We must face up to the fact that a child is a human being, inside the womb or out.
Would you like someone in this world to have the "right" to decide whether or not you should live another day. Here's a novel idea to make abortion morally just. Give birth to the baby, wait until he can communicate sensibly with the world and ask him the question, "Do you want to be aborted?" I guarantee you abortion rates would plummet. NOBODY SHOULD HAVE A LEGAL RIGHT TO KILL SOMEONE.
