RELIGIOUS POETRY
What in the world is happening
to people far and wide?
They`ve changed their way of thinking
and God's laws do not abide.
They no longer look at others
with respect and friendliness.
Instead, they want to shove their way
in front of all the rest.
The "Golden Rule" no longer holds
it's wisdom is ignored.
Its push, crowd in and get their first
ignore our holy Lord.
The Lord's great arm may soon descend
to sweep away that chaff.
He`ll spare the good and faithful ones
and cull out all riffraff.
There still is time to change your ways,
there is no place to hide.
But time is short and death is sure,
let Jesus be your guide you
