Poetry: Self-image

by Debby Peebles

Created on: August 25, 2008   Last Updated: January 01, 2010

My image,
 my Self,
 a single, precious light,
to shine throughout the world
for people;
day and night.

It is my heart upon my sleeve,
that I wave throughout the day.
It's my mojo and a talisman;
my own  hooray !

My image, the candle that
lights my way when times are dark.
To glow and burns,  smolder.
My carbon-less foot print

My self that sheds an image,
like a street light in the rain.
I love it, I adore it.
It's proof,
My life's not been in vain.
