A most emphatic "No!'
I have been called many things. I have been called narrow, fundamental, a tool, a sociopath, a Sith (yes, from star wars), and more...all from professing Christians. Why?
Because three-fourths of everyone that calls themselves Christian is headed for eternal punishment a lake of fire.
This is a sad statistic.
Jesus Christ said, "I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE: no man comes to the Father, but by me" (Emphasis mine)
There not only is no room for beliefs outside of Christianity, but Christianity itself has become so convoluted with false doctrine that three-fourths of "Christians" are deceived.
Why is this? Because many of the people who label themselves 'christian' usually mean something totally different than the actual meaning.
To some, the term 'Christian' is sort of like the term 'Ethnicity'. There are whites, there are blacks, asians, hispanics, there are a myriad of peoples in the world and we all know where we fit. So if we're white, we click the little box that says 'white' when we're filling out that all important application. There are a myriad of religions. There are those who subscribe to allah, buddha, confucius, hinduism, taoism, gnosticism, humanism, all 'gods', and no 'gods'.
So if we know we are not atheist but really don't know what we are, we click that little box that says 'Christian' in that same, all important application.
So what do we have? We have ignorant lay men, who believe that since their parents went to church, or since they are members of a church, or since they are pretty sure that a God is out there, that that makes them a Christian.
And it is precisely these men and women who pollute the doctrine of Christ. They subscribe to false theologies, doctrines, and teachers. They say that Jesus was A way but not the way. They believe that Heaven is sort of like the center of the wheel: it's where all the spokes meet and all the little spokes will get you there.
This is heresy!
Christianity; it is not a religion, it is a relationship.
Religion is man's attempts to reach God, whereas Christianity is God's attempts to reach man! How then can we mix attempts to reach God into a belief system that teaches us that God is calling out to us and that there is no salvation apart from Him.
How can we belief that Jesus' death is the only thing that saves us, and yet want to make it our own way by buying in to some other religion as a way of salvation?
We Can't!
Any true Christian (and by it I mean, believes that Christ is God, that He died and rose again for our sin, and that nothing we do will get us to heaven, it is only by the sacrifice of Christ and the grace of God) will recognize at once, that to trust in anything apart from Christ is absolute heresy; heresy, and nothing less.
So sure, if you believe that Jesus was a good man, and that somewhere out there may be a God, but you just don't know and you call yourself Christian anyway, you can add any belief you want to that.
Now you just have a prettier road to Hell.
