Emotional Sources of Disease
I am a living example of living with emotions that can lead to the most deadly disease; even death! I am not a doctor or college major, but I can give my own testimony to what you may want to know about a person who lives with a disease caused by a storm of emotions. There are many different diseases diagnosed such as Insomnia, Bipolar Disorder, Schitzaphrinia, Dissaciate Identity Disorder(Split Personality) ,
Anxiety Attacks, ADHD, and even chronic to severe depression. These diseases are usually caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. These are just a few of the major diseases that affect many of us living today!
Insomnia
Insomnia simply put is where a person is unable to sleep. You would think that is not a great problem, but after days of no rest, it can cause many problems with the body. Your mind is clouded, and confused you begin to not be able to concentrate on daily functions of life. Your body becomes weak for lack of rest causing your body to feel pain and fatigue. After long periods of time with no rest you become delusional and can even start to hallucinate. This can then lead to severe depression and a feeling of hopelessness! This person would then become unable to function in every day life!
Medications are usually prescribed such as Ambien, Lunesta, and even some narcotics such as Seroquil for example, can help this person with this disease.
BiPolar Disorder (Manic Depression)
This is a more confusing disease to commonly understand! I personally suffer from this most difficult disease. Ok, there are two sides to this awful sickness; Manic Mania and Manic Depressive Episodes. There is also Bipolar I and Bipolar II, which I will later explain the difference between the two disorders.
Manic Mania
Manic Mania is a lot like a person living on speed! They are filled with a high enormous amount of uncontrollable energy! Woman seem to be affected different than men. With saying that is from my own oppinion and experiences.
All people react to their disease in a different way. There are posative and negative ways that the person can handle their explosion of energy! I tended to become compulsive and clean. I don't mean just a small amount of cleaning, I
would scrub walls with bleach, clean corners, scrub and organize things into a certain position. I would rearrange my surroundings on a daily basis! My husband would come home and the furniture and the house would be completely different than when he left! I would draw for hours,
