DAD, THE PROTECTOR
Single Dads? The real responsible single Dad, can be single for two reasons. Either his wife has died, or he has custody of the children, and together they live as Dad and the kids. This is not an every Dad conclusion: it's a broad subject with many factors. This is one.
For dating, it can be a bit awkward for both the new woman in his life and Dad. As it is dating advice for the single Dad; lets deal with Dad. Under the above conditions, he may have no choice but to still be in the family home. That in itself is not an easy call on the new incoming date, or Dad. He maybe in a position where he cannot leave his still younger children alone, to be able to go out and date somewhere in the usual manner.
This is a delicate situation of a man trapped of his full freedom of movement, which is what most dates prefer, making it more delicate to deal with, all round. Is she a single Mum, maybe in the same, or similar situation as yourself? Have you both been left on your own, and between you both, have two homes to become good enough friends to blow in and out of? At the same time, winning the confidence of the most innocent and vulnerable of all in this dating experience: the children.
They are, just because they are still young, wide awake to a whole new happening and turn around in their Dad's life, or his actions. They are not too young to know there is a change in his affections towards them. They can already see and feel this has become somewhat, if even only fractionally, divided. Something Dad finds himself explaining about, another woman other than Mum, who was once in their life,
