The choice is easier as election day nears. We saw what a republican can do for the economy. We saw how Bush made unwise decisions. What is so hard about this coming election? It is obvious who we should choose for the next president. Obama is the right choice, because he represents positive change for our country. He is the one who will restore our reputation as a nation. I believe he is heaven sent.
We put Bush in office for 8 years and look what happened. Out of fear we keep making the wrong choices. What is wrong with this country? Did we not see what happened in Louisiana? When hurricane "Katrina" came, help took forever to get there. He'd rather deploy more soldiers to Iraq, than help thousands of people.
Did you know McCain voted 95% with Bush most of the time he was in the senate? He voted nearly identical. What does that tell you? McCain is just more of Bush, just a little older. What will it take for people to realize that if you want different results that you have to "do" something different? We can't continue to elect people out of fear. People say they don't know that much about Obama. I don't understand this, because his history is pasted up all over his website. When people say this, I think they are racist. What else do they need to know? When it comes to McCain, how much do we know about him? Does he really care about this nation? Who knows? Like "Obama" said, this is our time. We have to seize this opportunity. It's time to stop playing games and get down to business.
Our economy is in trouble. We have a global warming crisis, gas prices are on the rise, thousands of people have lost there homes due to the mortgage problem, food is more expensive and many have been laid off from there jobs. We are in a recession, so we can not afford to put someone in the White House who has the same views as Bush had. If we do that, we will make the biggest mistake of our lives. We will no longer be in a recession; we will be in a depression. Bush did what was best for the rich. He continually left out the middle class and poor. Now the government has given millions of tax payer's money. What does that tell you?
John McCain admitted that he knows nothing about the economy. He said it himself. I don't know about you, but that makes me pretty nervous. Why would I want someone in the white house that does not know about the economy? This is the biggest issue facing us right now. He also says he would keep our troops in Iraq for 100 years. That's crazy. Obama addresses the problems he would solve and how. He cares about early child hood education and teachers. He is willing to offer a $4,000 tax credit to those students who are in college. He said he would like to invest in "green jobs". He truly cares. The decision is pretty simple for me. What about you?
