After
Billy Falwell stood higher than any other man did, or so he thought. Dressed in his best Sunday attire, Billy looked outward to the sea of white and black. The perfect men and women of society, these were his children, as he liked to call them. Thousands entered the "House of Billy" every weekend, and millions would watch him preach on television. The people followed Billy, for his charisma mesmerized them.
A fine Italian suit in deep navy blue glistened on the three video projection screens high above. The leather-clad bible embossed in gold in his left hand waved in the air. The swaying of the holy text hypnotically captured all eyes in the sea. A white handkerchief in his right hand wiped the beads of sweat from his forehead.

To start the sermon with Genesis 19 felt more than appropriate. Licking his dry crusted lips the heavyset man spoke with fire in his heart. For Billy, the ultimate sinner does not murder nor do they covet thy neighbor's wife. For Billy Falwell, the homosexual is the devil's child.
"These homosexuals, the vile actions of these sinners are the cause of the world's problems." Billy said furiously. "Only man and woman are to lie together, and yet these sinners of the world plague us. These homosexuals corrupt our youth to join the wicked." Slamming his fist down on the ornately carved mahogany pulpit, small particles of dust explode from its wooden seams. The parishioners, sponge-like absorbed his words
