Welcome back again, my Dear, faithful Readers. It has been awhile, I must admit. I am sure you all know the way by now. Follow me down the west hallway, to the last door on the right, down the stairs, to our very own screening room. Please help yourselves to the refreshments of your choice, and the seat of your own choosing before we begin here tonight.
The reason we have gathered here tonight, is the topic of the best Horror movies of all time. I must begin by telling you, I consider myself a Horror movie buff extraordinaire. The horror movie genre is my absolute favorite of all the genres, and apparently, since you are all here, you evidently feel somewhat the same way. For the purpose of our screening tonight, I intend to give you all a bit of the "different". We all know about "The Exorcist", "Psycho", Halloween", "The Shining" and "Jaws", as being the best of the best, but, I want to give you all, a few "little known" movies, that will make your pulse quicken, your heart rate actually race, make you shudder, cringe, and may even make you scream outloud!. I would like to share with you, some movies, that I have found, that have given me nightmares throughout the years. Just a few little gems, that some of you may have heard of .......... or not. Before we begin with the "little known" movies, I must give creedence to "The Blair Witch Project", "Event Horizon", "Christine", "Cujo", "Children of the Corn", "Maximum Overdrive", "Leviathian", "The Abyss", and "Predator".
Now, my Horror movie aficionado's, all I ask you, is give these "little known" movies a chance. I am pretty sure you will find them as terrifying as any of the "best". As the thunder rolls above us, the rain starts to fall harder and the wind becomes a bit brisker, let us dim the lights, turn up the surround sound, and look towards the front of our theater to the high def, and let the movies begin ....................
"Nature of the Beast" ...... starring Eric Roberts and Lance Henriksen. You won't find out until the end just WHO "The Hatchet Man " actually IS. Alot of twists and turns in this movie!
"Link" ........ starring Elizabeth Shue and Terrance Stamp. "Link" is a highly intelligent orangutan working as a "butler" for an animal researcher. The researcher thinks "Link" is too old, so he wants to put him to sleep, but "Link" has other plans.
"Alone in the Dark" ........ starring Martin Landau, Jack Palance, Donald Pleasence. Four psychopaths escape from a mental institution, after a blackout,
