No praise to raise for proffered prose
Without a theme within that grows,
Like blossoms bloom in early spring
Create the beauty words should bring.
Your words can paint a picture pure
As sunlight will the chill wind cure.
Like lilac sweet on scented breeze
such words profound are bound to please
The soothing sound of simple script,
With all pretension proudly stripped,
Will cause a change within the brain -
A change to primal pleasure's gain.
A story told with glory bold
can temper thin tin into gold
and this should be a writer's goal
electrify the reader's soul
