I'm not too short, and not too tall
Can't play tennis or basketball.
Don't sing or dance or play the flute
But the one I love says I am cute.
My hair is graying, my tummy's round
Wrinkles and laugh lines now abound.
The weight piles on, my thighs roam free
But still somebody says he loves me.
I take a pill for every pain
I follow my diet and still I gain.
My knees are creaky, my eyesight's bad
But someone love me and I am glad.
I'm happy to be somebody's wife
He's helping me through this crazy life.
No matter that I'm aging fast
He says our love will always last.
He looks at me and doesn't see
The girl I was and used to be
He sees the woman I've now become
He loves me and we're joined as one.
