Park City Utah is a wonderful place for families with teens to enjoy a week together. With these seven itinerary choices, it should be easy for both parents and teens to have an unforgettable time.

Balloon Riding

A nice way for parents and teens to enjoy the beautiful mountains, rivers and scenery in Park City is to take a hot air balloon ride. It is a wonderful way to get not only a birds-eye view of the area but to have a memorable family experience.

Horseback Riding

Families can experience the beauty of Park City's countryside on horseback. Ride out to a lake or wind through the mountains with a guide for the day. Alternatively, rent horses, pack a lunch and set out for a family picnic adventure.

Hunt Down Ghosts

Park City has its share of ghost stories and it can be fun to go and see if you can catch a glimpse or two! Drop by the Snowed Inn on Hwy 244 where "Grandma" is not only said to haunt the place, but has shown up on photos!

At the Claim Jumper Steakhouse, both guest and staff have noticed many paranormal activities including hearing footsteps and seeing a friendly presence. A couple of other local haunted places are the old Utah State prison and the Silver mines.

Olympic Park

The Utah Olympic Park was home to the 2002 Olympic Winter Games and now has a set of extremely fun activities that teens are sure to want to do repeatedly! Experience the luge by riding the quicksilver alpine slide or, go up to 70 mph on the bobsled rides. For more fun, hop on the Xtreme Zip, the world's steepest zip line which has it's riders reaching speeds of 50 mph!

Park City Resorts

Park City Resort has so many activities that it would be hard to do everything in two days, let alone one day. Teens will enjoy scaling the five routes on the climbing wall and trying new tricks on the legacy launch

Families can have a fun competition getting through the human maze, at the miniature golf course, or racing on the zip rider as it hits up to 45 mph!

Ride a Bike

With over 325 miles of bike trails in Park City, there has to be a few the whole family could agree on! Ride out to a lake and enjoy a picnic, head up a mountain trail for an unbelievable view or just ride around town. Both regular and mountain bikes are available for rent throughout the city.

Whitewater Rafting

Teens and parents will need to work together to enjoy the challenge of riding the rapids together. A guide will ride with the family and help navigate as well as make sure everyone stays safe. The Weber River has class II rapids as well as the jaw dropping Taggart Falls making it a wonderful whitewater rafting location.

Park City Utah is perfect spot for both parents and teens to enjoy a family vacation.
