It is dead because women don't deserve it. You want to be in control and take a mans paycheck because of child support then open your own doors and while your at it hold it open for me too. I will hold the door for an older women and an older man for that matter. Heck I will hold the door open for anyone man or women but don't expect me to do so. If I even had an inkling that a person expected it then I would go out of my way to close the door first.

Too many women these days expect everything. They treat us men as if we are stupid. Its no wonder. Just watch a few television commercials or television show. What do you always see. Some women taking care of everything while the husband is the idiot and doesn't know anything at all. Cartoons for kids are the worst. Watch some time how they all depict the father in these cartoon. Complete idiots. Its no wonder why every women feels this way now.

Just to make an even better point. The womens right movement did nothing but give the government another paycheck to tax. Not only that but families are never together to the end and when they do end the guy ends up with nothing and also has to send a check to his ex-wife for the children that he does not even get to make any decisions about.

The question of is chivalry dead really irritates me. Yes it is dead and women killed it so don't get bitter about it ever. Women and men are not equal. If things were fair then it is the women that should be more courteous to men because of all the things that we now have to go through. The fact that they are not courteous just proves my point further. If they won't do it for use when they have more power and control then we should have never done it for them.

Many times in my life I have run across a women who thinks it is owed to her. What right does any person think this at all. Time to wake up and smell the twenty first century is it not. To me a child support check is forced chivalry. I would love to know what percentage of that money is actually spent on only the children and never the mother. I just can't get passed that. I have seen too many guys work very hard to make very little money because there checks are garnished. It is a crime. Thanks a lot Bill Clinton or should I say crooked government.

Chivalry is dead if you are looking for it. If not and if you are a good person man or women then I bet you will experience it a lot more than someone who is looking for it. Maybe this question should not even be asked because it just seems to make men mad and gets nothing done. If you want chivalry then there is the cliff. I'll even let you go first hows that for chivalry.

Senior citizens always deserve to be treated with respect and I doubt that they are the ones asking if chivalry is dead. For them it is not dead nor should it ever be. That is it. It is up to me who I choose to be kind. I will be kind and help everyone until I think there is a reason not to. I think that far too often a man over does it. Especially in the beginning of a relationship. Sometimes there is too much chivalry and in that sense it is not dead. Just over done. But to the people who are asking if it is dead I only say Yes it is dead and I am very glad for that.
