Buddhists teach mindfulness, in speech, thought and actions.
It centers itself around detachment, not allowing "things" or "conditions" to rule your spirit and rob you of your peace.
Buddha became enlightened after a life of struggle,mistakes and searching.
Much like many of us only searching to fill that much needed area of closeness and communication with our higher self's.
I cannot say that these are the "best" quotations,all of them work to guide us on our spiritual journeys.
They are just a sampling of the many filled with wisdom, knowledge, peace, and love.
May we all strive to be Buddhas in our daily lives and live mindfully.
