The poetry of "King David" allow me to pray prayers that have been answered
before and I know it because of believing "The Word." Poetry offers repentance and
hope by the grace of God.
The wisdom of Kahlil Gibraum could help raise your child as long as you nourish,
but do not assume "you can house their bodies but not their minds for their minds are
their own."
Poetry does not have to rhyme as long as its' story is told with rich monotones
or quiet sighs. It can make a love relationship last or it can end one; depending on
the matter in which the story is told or the spirit hovering at the time.
It is the very essence of an initial relationship when a man speaks to a woman
with "when you stop stalling we can be balling" or refuse his play and his remark is
"you are breaking my heart as I fall apart." Oh yeah it can be corny but depending on
the mentality of the person have effect.
At a young age with the divorce of parents and an extended family before me I often
felt a lonliness unexplained. One day while sitting in class I wrote "I want to live, I
don't want to die , I want to live though I often cry, I want to live yet I am destined
to die." Those words still have meaning to me and the joy and hardsip of it all keep me
alive.
Charlie Chan once in a movie spoke of a man who died at a table and what he said
was "uninvited dinner guest sometimes don't leave table."
As long as there are wars, rumors, and day to day living kind words shall
always have a place in society. Poetry can ease the pain with thought...,!
Having love without joy may find you a toy in the hands of the one you
love. Having someone love you without fault but truly desiring to be a part of
your mind is worth your time when it is reciprocated. You cannot love everyone who love you too many will not do.
Seriously as long as there is a voice written or orally spoken "The
Word", a poets' song song or a minister preaching poetey will always reign.
