"RAIN"
The clouds came together and said,
"That land over there needs to be fed."
No rain has sprinkled the plants and trees,
For all the animals and human beings.
We must tell all the clouds to gather,
And give us strength for this much needed matter.
The thunder said to the lightning,
"Look at the clouds they are fighting."
"No", said the lightning, "they are telling us to get ready,
As they are preparing for a rain so steady."
Soon enough the clouds gave a sign,
"Lightning and thunder, it is time."
Send your flash and make a great sound,
The earth is waiting in this little town.
So the flash of the lightning and the noise of the thunder,
Helped the clouds to send rain down under.
The rains began to fall to nourish the land,
Feeding God's great earth and all of mankind.

When it rains
I feel closer to you
because the color gray

Cars on the cobblestone streets
emit gas into the humid air,
as the smell of salt lingers
from the nearby
When it rains the old man thinks
He see's slithers of silver,
Littering his garden path.
His elderly brain turns lightening
