Adoptions have come along way. There are so many choices. There are open adoptions that allow birth parents and adoptive parents to meet and exchange information. They can share their dreams for the child. Some times they choose to keep in touch through out the life of the child.

Public adoptions are typically financially supported and managed by the state. They offer a wide variety of services.

International adoptions have become more common as perspective parents travel to countries like Cambodia, China, Russia and Guatemala. These can sometimes become very complicated.

Adoption is one of the most selfless and loving decisions that birth parents can make. A good way to explain an adoption is a beautiful gift for everyone involved.

~The Benefit of Dreams
Everyone has dreams and goals. And adoption is an excellent way to help all parties involved reach those dreams. The birth parents can put their personal lives back on track and perhaps prepare for a family in the future. They can continue their education. They can re-group and re-examine their lives and goals.

The adoptive parents are realizing a dream of inviting a new family member in their home. They don't do this on a whim. It's a dream and goal that they have been working toward for some time.

The child is raised by a loving family that was prepared for a child. The child was given a chance to realize all their dreams by birth parents that made a better choice for the child.

~The Benefit of Finance
The child is going into a home that is financially stable and prepared to meet their physical and financial needs.

The birth parents receive excellent prenatal care at no personal expense.

The adoptive parents get to use their saving for an investment of a life time. It's worth every penny to build your family.

~The Benefit of Mental Health
All parties involved are given opportunities for extensive counseling opportunities. Even extended family members are encouraged to participate. This can be one of the most useful benefits for both families.

~The Benefit of Love
Love of the child is really what adoption is all about. It's important to make sure all family members understand that the child comes first.

In our family "the twins" went to a loving family where they enjoy and grow. One of the birth parents has now passed away. The other birth parent is now prepared for the task and expecting a child any day. There is truth about the circle of life and love. Good things come to those who demonstrate love instead of hate.
