Vince McMahon coined the phrase "Sports Entertainment". This was done to help separate professional wrestling from the sports world. He wanted to be able to rise up in the entertainment business and he did just that. He created a phenom in entertainment.

Years ago, before the modern era, fans enjoyed professional wrestling and seen it as a legitimate sport. Today, everyone watches it on tv, they go to the shows. It is the number rated cable show on television today. Everyone seems to enjoy the soap opera like sagas that the McMahon family has put together.

Monday nights would not be the same with out RAW. Watching the legends of the past recently has brought back fond memories of a childhood. Seeing the up and coming stars of today competing in what seems an unbearable amount of pain. Watching the acting done by these professionals is just as amazing as watching the very action movies that some of them have starred in.

Professional wrestling has become very entertaining as of late. There seems to be a highly anticipated match each week, all of which will keep the viewer looking forward to the next week. Once a month Pay Per Views. The marque event of wrestling, Wrestlemania XXV is this year. It is being billed as the biggest event in the history of the business. The happenings in and out of the ring are enticing everyone into purchasing the $60 event on cable.

All the athletes in the business are getting geared up and showing the world what they are made of. This makes the shows even more entertaining. You have athletes trying to find away to impress and make it to the stage. They all are working toward one main goal. Main event at Wrestlemania.

Triple H (Paul Levesque), is working to avenge the attack on his family. John Cena is battling a champion who runs like a coward. Fans everywhere are finding these storylines very entertaining. They are viewing each and every event on television.

Professional wrestling has become a mainstay in the world of entertainment. It is going nowhere any time soon. There is even a second main association created by Jeff Jarrett. Total non-Stop Action (TNA) can be watched each week also. They are building a fan base that is rivaling the WWE (Word Wrestling Entertainment). They have even managed to sign a few stars away from Vince and family. Maybe someday we will see these two worlds collide as we did when WCW was purchased by the McMahon's.
