I am pretty new to the reviewstream.com website, but I am already frustrated with it. I found this website by searching the internet on ways to make money from home. I wanted something that I could do from my computer, but something that I did not have to pay an upfront fee for. It sounded simply enough, write reviews get paid. As long as the reviews were what they were looking for and were specific, you received $2.00 per review. Well, so far I have done over 60 reviews for them this past week. At first I kept getting my $2.00 per review, then I started getting quite a few "Bulk Rate" pays on them. I could not figure out why, since I was reviewing what people were requesting. I emailed the company and asked them why I was getting the "Rejected" response so many times. Within 10 minutes I received my reply. Considering it takes 3 days to get a reply on a review, I thought that was kind of quick. Their response was this, "If you think you can get more somewhere else, go there". That was their response. Short and rude if you ask me. Ever since then I have been getting all "Rejected" emails on all my reviews and when I type a new review they immediately respond back that I did not type enough information and reject it and offer the $.40. How can they say there is not enough information, they never even read it. Also, all my reviews are well over the "blue line" and extremely specific. It is worthwhile to do the reviews if you are getting $2.00 per review and a few $.40 reviews, but not at a constant $.40 a review. It seems like my email to them made someone mad, even though I was not rude. All I asked was what I could do to make them more appealing to them. I understand that it is a business for them and they want the best deal, but they need to be honest also. Before I write on a topic I search their reviews to make sure that there is a need for it, but not too many reviews already written about it. I find it confusing on how they base their opinions on your reviews. There seems to be no method to it. I have heard from other people that they do pay when you reach $50. What I did, was spent a few days and did 25 of them, that way I would have my $50 and I would then request the money and see how it went. If it went good, then I would continue to do it, if not then I would find something else to do from home. As I waited for them to review the ones I already did, I did a few more just to keep up on it. So far, my experience has not been good with them. I have done over 60 reviews and I have $24.40, not bad for extra money, but not enough for all the time that I spent on them. In my opinion, if you are a teenager, college student or a person who just likes to review things for a little extra cash it is a good site. If you are a person looking to make extra money to pay some bills, especially in this tough economy, this is not the site for you. If you do decide to use this site, I would not recommend asking them any questions about how they pay, they may end up blacklisting you like it seems they did to me.
