Poetry: Romantic pain

I chase,
I rush and pursue for better things.
To heavens gates just to touch my angels wings.
I'm ducking death the heat is chasing,
And my heart, it don't work anymore more, the beats are changing.
I bet it dies, just for the benefit of us, and better lives.
I hope you come to realize, that my search is over.
No more digging in the dirt, cause the work is over.
My heart stressed then blessed with oxymoron's like true lies.
The circumstance of my well being is like suicide.
You and I, are destined to become what it is,
Something special, like a father and his kids.
I pray that my words are heard and digested
And I let you know that everything said,
Well I meant it.
Sometimes I hold my tongue cause my fear is where my strength's lack.
God knows I want to cry but I try to hold my tears back.
I can't even truly understand what you mean to me.
My light in this dark world?
Yeah, that's what you seem to be...
