How to remove warts quickly

Warts are transmitted very easily. If you are walking or touching a surface that an individual with a wart touched themselves earlier, than you can pick up the wart virus yourself. Warts can be transmitted as easily as walking along the side of a pool. If an individual with a wart walked along the side of that same pool earlier, he or she left their virus behind for you to pick up. Warts are a viral infection and they are in the same family as the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). There are over a hundred different strands of this virus but for simplicity's sake we will focus on foot, hand, and planter warts. When you first get a wart, the first thing you want to do is remove it. Over the counter and home remedies are known to take a while. Therefore the quickest and easiest ways to remove a wart is to go to the doctor.

PROFESSIONAL TREATMENT:

Professional treatment is usually the last resort and is mainly needed for those suffering with multiple warts. But if you want it done quickly and effectively this is the way to go.

1) First is the freezing method. This is when the doctor freezes the wart tissues to less that -200 degrees Celsius. This is done by applying liquid nitrogen to the tissue surrounding the wart. The end result is, basically, freezing the wart off. This treatment is known to be very painful, yet effective. And unfortunately if not done properly freezing can cause later discoloration or scaring.

2) Electrocautery is a second method in which an electric needle burns off the wart. This is very similar to the freezing method except that it uses and electric needle to burn off the wart. This method kills all the surrounding tissue and the wart core. Again if not done properly this method can cause scaring or discoloration.

3) Laser surgery uses a laser to burn off the wart. This is very similar to electrocautery except it is more expensive and less chances for scaring or discoloration.

4) Strong chemicals are the fourth and usually last resort. This is a doctor supervised chemical treatment. This form of treatment is not needed for one small wart. This is usually used if a patient has dozens of warts focused in one area. Unfortunately when you have many warts in one area it is difficult to remove completely because the affection continues to contaminate the non effected tissue. Therefore, strong chemical are used to destroy the affected area as well as some of the non affected area to prevent further contamination.

In conclusion, the quickest and easiest way to remove a wart is to go to the doctor. They will asses your situation and decide on what action is needed to remove the wart.
