Some people are more susceptible to warts than others as they are susceptible to a virus called Human Papilloma Virus which stimulates the skin growth in a certain area. Warts are painful, they bleed and they sometimes even spread to other parts of your body as they are quite contagious. So no wonder a person would like to get rid of them!
First of all let's start with the easiest and quickest ways for you to get rid of warts all by yourself. Here are some quick home remedies you may want to try:
1)Include Garlic in your diet:
I know that eating too much garlic doesn't sound that much appealing but it actually works. Why? Cause garlic actually improves your immune system which helps you fight the virus that is causing you this wart. Plus garlic has anti viral properties which mean that it can also prevent future warts from occurring as people that have warts means that they are always susceptible to getting more warts. If you don't like garlic you can take garlic tablets instead. You can also try rubbing garlic onto your skin directly.
2)Soak the infected area in warm water for about 15-20 minutes. Then apply cider vinegar onto the area using a cotton ball till it dries out. This is supposed to dry out the wart till it falls off.
3)You can try to apply a paste containing Vitamin C as it helps the skin to resist infection. In general taking supplements like Vitamin A, C and E greatly improves your immune system helping you fight over the virus.
4)Applying Vitamin E oil to the wart then covering it with a band aid could also help you getting rid of the wart. You can find Vitamin E oil in capsules which you can then take out using a knife to break the capsule.
5)You can also apply a duct tape to cover the wart in an attempt to suffocate the wart in order fall it to eventually fall off. Cut a small piece of duct tape just enough to cover the wart for about a week. After a week remove the duct tape then soak the wart in water and remove the dead skin with a pumice stone or an emery board. Repeat the
6)You can also try to apply a banana peel on to the wart over the night with the inner side of the peel touching the wart but it has to be done frequently in order for it to work.
If you had no luck using the natural home remedies to help you remove the wart, you may have luck using chemical forms by the using the help of a professional. Here are some of them:
1)Cantharidin:
This is a chemical inserted into a band aid which should then be used to cover your wart. It may cause some blisters but the infection will eventually fall of. This can also be used to treat plantar warts.
2) Imiquimod:
This is a drug that needs a medical prescription and is used to treat genital warts. It's said that Imiquimod is supposed to enhance your immune system to fight over the infection.
3)Cryosurgery:
This technique is done by a professional involves freezing the skin at about 200c by liquid nitrogen which then causes the wart off.
4)Laser:
This is used to cut off the wart and is used as a last resort if all other fails. It's a bit painful and it may leave a scar in the end but it may be worth a try if all else fails.
