If you're planning a trip to the tropical Caribbean then the logical choice is Jamaica Man!
Jamaica is the third largest island in the Caribbean and has the most English speaking populous in the region.

Jamaica is a beautiful island nation and Jamaica actually means "Land of Springs." Jamaica is home to the glorious Blue Mountains. The climate is tropical and warm with cooler weather higher inland.

Although a small island nation, Jamaica is rich in musical culture and night life and home to "Reggae" which has been a great influence on the western music scene.

Jamaica is a agricultural paradise with pineapples, sugar cane, bananas, yams and coffee, but the one export that Jamaica is most famous for is its world class Rum Man! Tourists love to buy a couple of bottles right from the island to take home (duty free).

Outdoors activities in Jamaica are endless. Boat tours, snorkeling, swimming, fishing, and Jamaica has superb deep sea diving due to its narrow coastal plain rich in aquatic sea life and scenic coral reefs.

Montego Bay is a very popular destination and Doctors Cave Beach Club is one of the most famous and desirable beach hangouts on the island due to its white sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise water.

Kingston is the capitol city of Jamaica and is known for the beautiful Hellshire and Lime Cay Beach resorts and as home to the National Gallery of Jamaica where the most notable works of Jamaican artists can be viewed.

Port Royal is a famous tourist destination because of its dark history as the seediest pirate port ever to exist in the Caribbean and was made even more famous by Walt Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean."

It was a port of some importance due to its size and ability to offer services for ship repair and was a significant port for trade and of military importance at the time.

Port Royal was a lawless city, a new Sodom and Gomorra that catered to outlaws and vagabonds until its unfortunate destruction by a earthquake of 1692. Now the area is a haven for archaeological exploration and tourism.

Jamaica is a glorious place to visit being rich in historical significance and is a tropical wonderland filled with endless adventures and smiling local faces. With the stronger western currencies North American tourists can have a good time and not break the bank in the process.

GO TO JAMAICA MAN!
