Is Miley Cyrus giving the right image to youth of today?

Can I say that Miley Cyrus' behavior is appropiate for her age? No, I can't because that kind of behavior isn't appropriate for any age. Lets look at it this way. Any girl at fifteen makes mistakes. The only difference is that when your famous everybody will hear about your mistake. The media loves this stuff, they hipe it up. After all it sells really good, doesn't it?

The thing is everybody who read the magazines since Miley appeared in them expected her to mess up, and I believe she knew this. Her family expected the best of her. For a rebellious fifteen year old messing up is more appealing, it's what most of us choose at that age.
Even with the racy pictures, Hanna Montana's quality did NOT deteriorate. I myself watch the show sometimes and get a good laugh out of it with my family. I am certain that the show just by itself will not be any danger to our kids' mind. The rest of the stuff might be.
There is a lot of pressure on our children in today's world. Wheter its to be extra skinny, drugs, alcohol, sex; EVERY SINGLE KID FEELS IT! That is why I can understand why she messed up. Looking at other girls her age ,though, you will realize that they do not need Miley as a guide for acting out. Because that's it basically, what she's doing. She wants to be a grown up. Today, kids do mature a lot faster, but for some reason they are still unable to realize that their actions have consequences. A lot of parents might disagree, because it's too scary to accept this.
All in all, the truth is Miley does not represent a good image to the youth of today. My opinion is, if you don't like her, don't watch her.
In the world of celebrities the bad will always be more publicized than the good. Because of this, young celebrities find it appealing to behave so outrageously. The sad truth of it is that they know that this way they will get some attention. In their mind, it is better to get attention for doing something wrong, as opposed to doing something right and getting no attention. Hasn't anybody noticed that as long as a star doesn't do something outragous, the magazines forget about them? The real problem is that most stars get carried away. At first its to get attention. But after drugs come into play other interests and goals fade away. They won't care about attention anymore, just the next fix. I can only hope that Miley will come to her senses before she goes too far on the wrong side of the road.
