A review of the best digital camera batteries

This time last year, if you had have told me that I was going to discover and enjoy digital photography, I would have thought you were crazy. My whole life I have sworn by disposable cameras. It wasn't because I had tried all the different cameras on the market and hated them. I just wasn't aware of all the products out there. As far as I was concerned, nothing could be more convenient than a disposable camera.

When I finally got a digital camera, I discovered a whole world that I never knew existed. The most confusing to me of all digital camera conveniences was batteries. When I noticed that there was a picture of a trashcan with a giant X through it on the side of the batteries, I was very confused.

Until my mother-in-law explained it to me, I didn't even know that they made rechargeable batteries. I guess it is safe to say that I was so behind the times that I was stuck in the dark ages. Regardless of my lack of knowledge, now days, I love these little rechargeable batteries. They make my life a lot easier!

As far as I am concerned, rechargeable batteries are a wonderful invention. I love to take pictures of any and everything. I am constantly scrolling back through my pictures and deleting the ones that didn't turn out well. I like to look back and show others the pretty things that I have captured. With disposable batteries, these activities will run the batteries down very quickly.

My camera is a Fuji brand. It came with its own batteries and a little charger (and a carrying case). These batteries are terrific. When they are fully charged, they will run my camera for a full day of picture taking. I have had them for close to a year and they still work as good as they did the day I got them.

Although they are made for my digital camera, they are compatible with other items also. I use them in my portable disc player and they will play a whole disc without even getting weak. Generic and disposable batteries won't even play four songs before they crap out on me.

Another terrific brand name for digital camera batteries is Kodak. They sale at the local super center for less than fifteen dollars and come in packs of four with its own charger. If two of the batteries die, then you can charge the other two but you still have a back-up plan. I have never had the Kodak batteries die on me.

After I am done taking pictures, I charge the batteries that are in the camera. I love my Kodak batteries. They are a great brand and they have lasted a long time.

I wish that I could say I have tried hundreds of other brands but that isn't true. These two brands work for me and I stick with what works. I would recommend these brands to anyone with my thumbs up for approval!
