What was the mission of Christ Jesus

Our Heavenly Father, God, had a desire for fellowship with someone, so he created mankind to fellowship with Him. He created, first of all, the man, forming him out of the dust of the ground. I can imagine Him building a man out of dust, smoothing and shaping him into the image of Himself. Then He knew that man would be lonely, so taking one of Adam's ribs he made another person for him to have companionship and fellowship with, and told them to multiply and replenish the Earth.

He placed His creation in the beautiful garden of Eden, and gave them everything that they needed to have a happy life. God did not intend for them to fall, but Satan was in the world and he thought it was his job to cause them to sin. Satan at one time, had been a beautiful angel in Heaven, but he began to think that he was better than God, and that got him kicked out. Therefore, sin entered into the world.

God's plan for Adam and Eve was for them to live in the garden of Eden for the rest of their lives having daily fellowship with Him, but he gave them the power to choose because He wanted man to choose to live in fellowship with him. After Eve was tempted by the serpent, which was Satan, she then tempted Adam and he fell. That caused guilt and shame, then their fellowship with God was broken. They both realized that they had sinned but there was nothing that would clear that guilt. The sin that they committed was the sin of disobedience to God. That did not, however, keep God from loving them. They were his creation, and He loved them still, so He altered His plan for mankind.

The blood of goats, bulls, pigeons, etc. did not do the job of cleansing the sins of man, it only pushed their sins into the future where once again they would have to shed the blood of the innocent animals to do the same thing, over and over again.

God came up with a plan for a one time cleansing that would take care of sin once and for all. He sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to die. Jesus lived on this earth for about thirty years, teaching about God's new plan for mankind. He was the Word of God in flesh. He lived, walked this earth, and taught all people who would hear Him, everything that God had in mind for His plan of salvation. Whatever His Father told Him to do He did, and He did it without sin because He had no sin, He was the sinless Son of God.

The religious leaders of that day did not like Jesus and His teachings, therefore they sought to find and kill him. He was not killed, He willingly gave
