Of course! I respect Barry Bond's record for his home run. He worked hard for it and if he made a mistake in the past, well we all do.Respect is always intact even if you screwed up.If you lost respect that means you only show respect to someone who does perfect? No one is too perfect in this world.Everyone in the course of our life times we do sometime made a terrible messed up but it doesn't meant you take away your respect for that. The word respect is come inside your personality it's not like you grab it when you walk outside. When you learn how to cuss then you already have respect inside your heart.
You lost your respect it's just because he cheated or maybe he did it or not it doesn't meant that he don't deserve it.No matter what he did he made a record for having that home run then give it to him with honor. He did a good performance either be because of the substance or hormone intakes or whatever it's just does not matter because he is the one who made it happen and that's enough to gain respect for himself.
Do you think that if I will take illegal drugs and then win as a President, then you will blame the drugs for winning? I don't think so.I think that it's in the law that you cannot be a President if you are a drug addict or use illegal substance but it's not like you are going to condemn someone for winning because he takes substance that made him win.Did you see the point here? You punish the individual who violates the rules that's it but you cannot claim and disrespect someone because he won so many times by means of drugs. The drugs cannot run and cannot pitch the ball but it's the player who does the action and made him win.Though he violated some laws it does not mean he is not worthy to be respected of his own good records.
You respect a person because he tried hard to be successful but on the other hand he has to pay of what he violates in accordance with the law. It's really differ from person's point of view.If you are not considerate I bet you cannot give respect to anyone who drives drunk or cheat his wife.
I do not have respect for a cheaters but things happen for different reasons. Why do you think he cheated if he did cheat.I am not fan of Barry Bond but disrespecting his record is just because of whatever mistakes he made I don't think it is right. But for some,it might be a big deal.
No matter what the persons past or mistakes in their lives,it does not meant they don't have feelings inside and that they don't deserve any respect at all.I think that everyone deserves to be respected even if you made a mistakes.
But of course you have to be responsible with your own actions.I respect anyone who made mistakes but I am not in favor of them in doing illegal actions against the law.
I am a law abiding citizens and I respect the laws above all and so the people either be they made mistakes or not.
