Poetry: To my daughter

by Reva Niner

I carried you for nine long months.

I went through the toughest and the

most painfullest labor I could have thought.

But, when they placed you in my arms

all the pain disappeared.

And what I saw was a miracle.

With your beautiful blue eyes....

your two cute little ears...

your little button nose....

your little rosy lips...

with your ten little fingers

and your tiny little toes.

I was over joyed at the wonderful sight you was.

For now and always,

You will be my one and only,

wonderful and special daughter;

That I love more then life itself.
