wEt.
No one likes to be wet,
when the weather,
causes you to wear a sweater,
creating a new layer of soft skin,
the color of haloween, night,
or thanksgiving.
Festive,
with the facial nuances of
a death in the family
or a far away tragedy.
Paint me a nicer face,
dear,
For I need you more than I say,
or will ever be strong enough to admit.
My strength is in shallow words
and misguided actions.
I try,
don't be decieved by my easy
going demeanor.
I need you love,
now until the end of smoke filled breaths,
and too many rants
about the economy, or something.
Just say "That is nice dear" and
tuck me in at night.
