the New Testament but stopped as the Apostles completed their ministry. As a teenager and into my early twenties I would read of the ministries of such people as Katherine Kuhlman, Oral Roberts, and others. I would hear of healings, wonders and miracles, and I would doubt their reality. I was probably guilty of denouncing what they were doing, thinking they were in it for the fame, fortune and the glory. But praise God for His faithfulness. Slowly but surely down through the years he lead me to change my mind about the Healing ministry. Je allowed me to see real healing miracles take place. He graciously allowed me to be involved and pray for people and granted healing. I would like to share with two short examples where God in His graciousness used me to be a conduit of His healing power. The first story happened when I was a student. I spent my summer months in a mission on a First Nations Reserve in Northern British Columbia. Next door to the little Church that I worked out of lived a little 7 year old boy. This boy did not talk. He only made grunting noises. He was very shy .I found that often he would come into the Church and would sit down at the electric organ and would play simple little melodies. His mother would try and shoo him away from the organ thinking I would not like him playing at it. But I told her it was fine. So almost everyday this little boy would come over to the little Church and play the organ. He never said a word, but there was a smile on his face and real joy in his heart. At the end of the summer, when I had to leave and return to College, the little community held a farewell service for me. At the potluck supper this little boy walked up to me and gave me a picture of a Killer Whale that his mother had sketched. When he handed it to me he said, "For you!" Just two words- but never the less words. This little boy spoke. To me that was a healing. Praise God. Even today, thirty nine years later, when I looked at that Killer Whale sketch the Lord whispers to me heart, "I am the God that heals! Even as I write tears are welling up inside me- tears of joy, praise and thanksgiving.
The other story took place six years ago. I had the honor of being the Guest Speaker at a Christian Renewal Weekend Camp. During the weekend a young couple with their children participated in the camp experiences. They had a four year old son who had problems with his muscles and could not walk. He crawled all over the camping area. On the Saturday afternoon,
