Teacher's Recipe
Reading, numbers, and parts of speech,
Science, Social Studies and others to teach.
Into each student, mix all well.
Keep mixing from morning until the last bell.
Show patience so they can learn some too.
Tell them you're proud of the right things they do.
Model problem solving in a calm way-
how to act, react and just what to say.
Point out that unique is a great thing to be.
Different talents and interests make each one free
to find a self that will grow to be one of a kind.
Strong in body, heart, soul and mind.

Looking at all the new faces
As they wonder where
