There are many advantages to live in a rural areas.I,myself have been grow up in a place where there's no electricity.water supply or transportation. So ,all I did was to study my school everyday because there was no television to watch or other recreation that can destruct my studies.
Another thing is the discipline and the exposure to violent crimes or video games online.I do not have computer nor Internet connection available so I have influences in terms of chatting or searching for stranger online.
I was raised in a good manner way with my guardian and keep that way even if I was able to move to the city.In the city, there where you can see all bad and good side in life that you cannot find at the rural places.
I have to walk for more than an hour to get to school everyday and be able to learn the importance of perseverance and optimism. I plant corn and have work at the farms to make a living.I help neighbor to transport their luggage to the main road and get paid with foods that I need for the meal.
I have no parents to take care of me so working hard is the best I can offer to get what I want like used clothes and leftover meals from my neighborhood.
Though I was not born rich but I have maintain a good behavior towards fellowmen in my community.I help and volunteer our community with less than 800 population in my time.
Our main food source was banana planting and sugarcane farming.I don't own the farm I just work for food and for some clothes in return of my work time.
When I wen to school,I have to pick up guavas in the woods to exchange for school supplies like papers and pencil and also crayons.
I learned to be humble and be kind to people in my life time.I have respect to all though I live in a remote rural area.
For me, you do not need to high education to learn respect and kindness.Just observe others and compare yourself to your own shadow.
Small town but full of life! No crimes or drugs for there's not much people around.I have learned that in the province there's more peace and happiness than in the city.I observed that people in the rural areas are closer to each other than in the city.In rural area where I grew up,we knew our neighbors regardless of how far your house is.But in the crowded urban area, even your next door neighbor you do not know the names nor what they are up to.Unlike in rural place, you know the everyday activities of your neighborhood.
You will visit and ask anyone you came along with about what this certain person is doing today, believed me he/she is going to tell you his/her neighbor's business for that certain time. That's how close the community in the rural area than in the urban community.
