Marilyn.
There once was a cat named Marilyn
Who said "Well, hello. Could you take me in?"
We gave HER a home -
If only we'd known
That pussy cat's really a him!
She would lap up her milk and food
Then cop an occasional mood
She climbed up the bed,
And slept on my head
A comfortable cat one concludes!
A trip to a 5 star hotel
In the bag she thought time to rebel'
While smuggling her in
She meowed such a din
A cat who enjoys raising hell!
To a brother who's all but a doggie,
"Don't forget dog, that I am a Moggie!
Coz cats are the best
And dogs are the rest."
She spoke down to poor little Sparky.
Catching mousy's her favorite game
Drowns n' chews em to make sure they're maimed
She puffs up her fur
Attacks, then she purrs
But Marilyn's never to blame'!
The time came to visit the vet.
Growls and hisses, she started to fret.
She started to bawl
When he chopped off her b*lls
The worst person she'd ever met!
Finally Christmas time came
And Marilyn found a new game
A tree full of joy
And of Baubles and toys
Til it toppled. "oh, whoops" she exclaimed!
In the car she would go everywhere,
From Florida to Delaware,
At once she got out
On the 95 route
But when caught, she said that isn't fair!'
When we moved to another new home
Marilyn thought she would roam
She went under the house
With the fleas and a mouse
Took advantage, based on - when in Rome'!
9Lives is her favorite meal
All others seem to make her feel
So terribly sick
'Til she moans and she picks
To get something that holds more appeal.
If a spider or roach should invade
It's Marilyn's time to parade,
She chews off their legs
'Til they hiss, scream and beg
Then she leaves 'coz the fun starts to fade.
She sharpens her teeth and her claws
Washes and bathes with her paws.
She's bouncy and bright
And it's such a delight
To play fetch to a round of applause!
Marilyn, you're a wonderful cat
Everyone loves you and that is a fact.
Cantankerous but sweet,
All you want is a treat,
So you'll get one and then - that is that!

My Plant Killing Cat!
He arrived in my house, a small ginger ball.
Full of himself, no fear at all.
With his tiger stripes
Shining green eyes
Watching, quick.
A paw extended,
A delicate lick.
Stretch and leap,
Down to the floor.
Preen soft grey fur,
Just
I sleep, I eat, I sleep some more
I'm always watchful at the door
There isn't anything I miss
Except my empty cat food dish
