Camping is a way for city slickers to commune with nature. The experience gets you back to the earth, the soil, the land so that you can at one with nature. Yup, camping is a great way to feel as though we are truly part of the world.

So for me the greatest camping experience anyone can have is at the Hilton hotel! Yes siree, the comfort of a 5star hotel is the only way to go when camping. However there are few, if any, 5 star hotels in national parks. So what's a comfort loving guy like me to do?

It's really easy, I find the biggest most comfortable RV available and sleep in comfort and eat from china plates. For me camping is all about comfort. Tents are for those folks who simply just don't know any better for if they did then they too would have the comfort of an RV when camping.

You see, camping in tents is reserved for those poor folks who either can't afford or don't want to put out the money for a nicely equipped recreational vehicle. There is nothing like comfort and it's sad when people want to fight the urge to lie down in a big comfy bed. That's how camping was meant to be; as much comfort as possible.

You see, in the beginning camping was just how you lived. You placed your head on a comfy rock and maed a small hole in the dirt to sleep in. Later as man progressed they began to look for comfort by placing mammoth skins down on the ground and the fur would provide both warmth and comfort.

Throughout history it has been man's quest to seek out comfort wherever it might be. Beds came along and they were made of wood and had no mattresses. You slept on a wooden form but later you added maybe a bear skin to add to the comfort. On it went; man kept looking for comfort not just with sleeping but also with sitting and just relaxing.

So why would we have the desire to go backwards? That really makes no sense given what man has done over the centuries toward creating comfort. It's not right for you in your almighty wisdom to go back on thousands of years of human advancements and achievements and go camping in tents with sleeping bags. We should all respect our ancestors and their desire to seek comfort but instead you tent people wish to mock your forefathers.

That, my friends, is all that I'm doing. I am respecting all that my ancestors did to try and create comfort and I do this by camping in as comfortable an environment as possible. You owe it to your forefathers to camp only in comfortable recreational vehicles. Stop disrespecting all the advancements in comforts made by your relatives. Think of the suffering they went through to provide you with comfort. Rocks for pillows and then there was the mistake of using the porcupine skins as blankets, ouch!

So make use of the technology that our relatives developed just for us. You'll be glad you did and so will they.
