Plant This, by Blue Atom Games is an exciting puzzle game that puts you in the place of a gardener or sorts whose goal is to stop the invading bugs from defeating you. In this game you are charged with the task of creating a flower maze to thwart the many different types of bugs that wish to destroy you. You start the game in tutorial mode which walks you through how to plant your garden and it also gives you tips on how to create mazes which will stall the bugs and allow you to kill them faster. There are several waves of attacks, but in between the attacks you have the opportunity to create and upgrade your maze of flowers. In the beginning there is only one type of flower and then you get the chance to upgrade them so that they have more power and range, then you will be able to get different types of flowers that have more benefits, such as a longer range and a faster shooting time.

The graphics in Plant This are what you would expect from a puzzle type game, the flowers look good and the animations are not too bad either. The one thing that kind of got to me is that the words that appear on the screen when the gopher is talking are not the words that the gopher actually says in the verbal dialogue which in my opinion is very odd, they could have just made the gopher talk or at least say what the pop ups contained rather than in some cases what the gopher says verbally is completely different that what is in the text areas.

Plant This, by Blue Atom Games is creative in the way that it approaches the game play with the ability to create complex mazes and upgrade the units as you see fit. You are also able to delete the units and reconfigure them during the actual attacks as well which is a plus when you see a flaw in your design. Plant This, by Blue Atom Games looks like a child's game at first glance, but then you get sucked into it. There is something about this game that makes you want to keep playing over and over again. I would recommend this game for anyone looking for an exciting puzzle/strategy game and I would rate Plant This, by Blue Atom Game a 5/5 for its amusing dialogue and well thought out game play.
