The Perfect Day
The sun was out today
And it wasn't too hot.
Today was a beautiful day.
The boss called and said you're off today
And it was Friday
Today was a good day.
I slept in and took my girl to school
And I went for a ride
Today was an even better day
Later I had a mid day nap with my family
And my lady slept close to me
Today was one hell of a day
We had a good meal
And I had a drink before bed
Today couldn't be a better day
I put my baby girl to bed
And made love to my lady
Today was a perfect day
