Warts is a common infection caused by HPV ( Human Papilloma Virus). It generally grows on the hands ,feet, and on any areas where a wound will be. Aside from the physical irritation of walking around with a oozing bump, there are also moments when they can become sore. Warts can bleed or leak pus when constantly rubbed. Children are susceptible to warts, because they thrive in moist areas and fester in small cuts.

Different types of warts are , plantar warts (which grow on the bottom of the feet), filliform warts (skin colored warts that grow on the nose eyes and mouth) , and flat warts (small button shaped warts that usually grow on the face). The HPV virus is passed between people by direct contact or even through common items that a person with warts uses. Warts can be prevented by constantly sanitizing the hands and overall practicing good hygiene.

Another kind of warts is known as genital warts. Genital warts are small lumps that grow around the genital and anus area. Some warts on the area aren't visible to the eye , but are able to be transmitted to a sexual partner. Infection can be prevented , by taking general pap smear examinations to determine whether or not there are any changes to the cervix. As with any STD, condoms should always be used during vaginal, anal ,or oral sex. Heavy smokers have also been known to be prone to contracting the virus. Ultimately , it manifests in to cancer . In so many words, I am saying that it is best to stay away from cigarettes or kick the habit.

If a person, already has HPV, then there are several methods that can be used to get rid of warts quickly. Natural treatments is an option that individuals choose if he or she wants to avoid using traditional therapy. It also helps to save money and a trip to the doctor's office. Garlic is a natural remedy used to get rid of warts.

Garlic is rubbed on the skin and then covered with a bandage overnight. In the morning, the bandage is removed , and the area is washed. The process is repeated for 1-2 weeks ,or until the wart disappears. Potatoes are also another way of getting rid of warts, without harsh chemicals. The potato is cut in half and rubbed on the wart each night for 1-2 weeks. During that duration, the wart will dry and fall off. Castor oil covered with duct tape has been known to help in several instances.

Over the counter medications is another choice that people make when dealing with warts. People are willing to pay a hefty fee to decrease and ultimately eliminate
