How to get rid of bumpy skin on your face

It happens to everyone you have an outbreak that ends up scarring, or your makeup clogs your pores and causes your skin to be uneven and bumpy. You can even end up with uneven skin from being in the outdoors from an extend period of time without proper cleansing products. Despite how it comes about, it can happen to anyone. The good news is that there are ways to heal your skin some quick solutions, others that are long term commitments you make to your skin.

One of the best ways to get great results and smoother skin is to use at-home dermabrasion. Avon sells a fantastic product, the ANEW Clinical Advanced Dermabrasion System. The bottle is divided into two halves, one of which dispenses abrasion exfoliants, the other with a moisturizing lotion. You start with the first setting that dispenses all lotion, no exfoliant. From there, week by week you progress through the different levels that disperse more exfoliant each time. Great for even the most sensitive skin, this system builds up your skin's tolerance for a deep scrubbing that helps even skin tone and eliminate blemishes and sun spots.

While dermabrasion is a great way to develop a daily regimen to maintain healthy skin, sometimes you need a quick fix if for no other reason than to help you feel better. I know that when my skin gets oily and built-up with everyday pollution, it brings down my whole confidence level. One way to help your skin breathe is to use a basic toner. Simply douse a cotton ball in a facial toner and swipe across your face from the center out. This will dry out any oils and cleanse your skin. You'll feel refreshed and your skin will be able to breathe a little bit better, which will help it even itself out over time. Another method is to periodically give yourself a facial. You can use any kind you want mud mask, cucumber mask, anything that might target your problem areas. Even doing this once a week will give you fantastic results. Any grime from the week that is missed by your daily face wash will be pulled from your skin, giving you a clean slate for the week to come. A great time for this is a night when you can relax, lay back and read a book at your leisure. It's no surprise that stress is a major cause of skin problems so you don't want to be rushing to get the mask off of your face because you have to pick your kids up from school. Make this a time for you to unwind and heal your body.

When it comes down to it, we all have different reasons for uneven skin. Stress at home and work, our environment, and maybe even poor cleansing rituals. The good thing is that there are endless products and methods available to help us undo what has been done so don't lose hope and look forward to a brighter, more even future!
