Today a woman was selling her cheating husband's mistress' "knickers" on popular auction website e-bay - and the bids continue to climb skyward.

Known to buyers as Annastella007, the 5-year auction veteran writes in her listing that she came home early from work after receiving a suspicious text message from her husband. Upon her arrival at home nothing seemed amiss, but she still had a feeling things weren't as they seemed. After getting some strange vibes from him when he uncharacteristically offered to make her tea, she proceeded to search her bedroom only to find evidence of his illicit tryst with another woman. Obviously cornered, the husband declined to admit to the truth. Instead, rather incredibly, he tried to explain away the used condom wrapper and underwear with excuses that he used the condom to retrieve his phone that had fallen into the toilet and even that he was a closeted transvestite. The strange text message had been meant for his mistress, who the wife reports she later found out was named Kylie, sent from the phone he'd just swore to have dropped in the toilet. Annastella007 and her husband had been married, according to her listing, for over 22 years.

Due to e-bay's restrictions, however, a photo of the offending undergarment must be substituted for the actual item. At one point the listing had garnered up to 99 million dollars, but those bids may have been retracted or otherwise removed.

The complete offering is the used condom wrapper described laughably as size small, along with the photo of size "humongous" black lacey underwear.

A very recent peek at the listing has yielded the bids have once again climbed as high as a million dollars.

Interested bidders, past customers, and curious onlookers have all commented on the auction, offering their support with "You go girl" and "More power to you". Others are genuinely interested in a purchase, requesting more details from the seller. If hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, then a flaming trend might have just been ignited. Certainly it isn't the strangest thing ever sold on e-bay, or the most intriguing, but revenge can be its own reward. And in this case, the reward might turn out to be substantial in more ways than one.

Annastella007 ends the listing saying she threw her husband out, taking the key to his "Harley Hog" in the process. That prized possession, she explains, may be the next item up for bid.
