Inspiration All Around

A divine influence directly and immediately exerted upon the mind or soul is called inspiration. While writing, the smallest spark of inspiration is all we truly need to come up with a masterpiece to awe them all. When I am in need of inspiration, I turn and think of my everyday life because that is where my inspiration derives from. If I want to write something happy and full of life; my inspiration is my darling little sister, Kaya. If deep, painful, and full of heartache is the search, the still occurring absence of my father is where my mind flows. When calm and soothing words ache to escape my mind, reminiscing of yoga sessions and my sense of well being are what bring my thoughts alive. When words of love race through my mind, my inspiration is the very smile that lies on my boyfriend's beautiful face. Thoughts of adventure and nature are all trying to break free as I imagine that radiant pine tree I loved to climb when I was young. Dreams, wishes, and desires break free from my grip when I imagine myself being all and everything I can be. And finally, words of strength, faith, and belief explode onto the very piece of paper I am writing on when I think of how my mom survived the death scare of cervical cancer in 2005. Inspiration is the one thing that is different for every person in the world. It's everywhere. It's in everything. It's in everyone. Inspiration is in you.
