My life is by the ocean.
She licks my salty feet.
A real life living monster,
Hiding danger through deceit.
She tosses and turns through the night,
Her chorus never stops,
From one hundered mermaids whispering low,
To a million in a strop.
With morning's first waking breath,
Her scent will linger long,
A cool and salty uncooked broth,
With a hint of seaweed pong.
Upon opening the curtains,
She's always there, looking back at me,
Ever changing mood upon her face,
Millpond, lumpy, or simply wild hoolie.
But despite all of this,
There's something, but I don't know what,
And though she be a monster,
She's the best thing that I've got.

The Ocean

My mind travels cowardly full of tearful emotion
When I wonder about the deep parts of the ocean

Mist is coming over my roof,
and
The Sea
The sea has many faces,
And many different moods,
From violent raging tempests,
To lucid interludes.
It flows past frozen
