THE JAWS OF LIFE
I screamed out of my sleep on that Sunday night when I saw the fawn of the beast penetrating my chin. It came in through the window .There seems to be no light in all the neighborhoods. The sounds of a cricket were all over the garden. The cat mewed in the garage. The dogs bark. I was alone in the whole building. My wife : Ken was away in a far away land probably sleeping. It was around the time when I was trying to round up the book manuscript. We had a deadline on this book. The beast hit me in the face. Penetrated through my jaw into the bed sheets .i suddenly woke up screaming. Then I saw the floor stained with blood. The book was already blood stained. Does the dream world have connection with the real life? I started writing "THE JAWBONE OF AN ASS- The secrets to gaining financial freedom and getting out of life's messy situations." When I was still on campus; I did not have a plan of making out of it anything spectacular. I was still a dependent student on campus then. I was very far from the "jaw" of financial freedom itself then. I mean that I don't have the financial freedom. I had not really lay hold of it. I did not have the grasp of what it will all turn out to become. However I had a passion for writing and that was the beginning.
It will be two days to turning it into the print for the editor of the publishing firm to put the finishing touches to it.Before I could get back into realigning my thoughts; I saw the second beast at the door. And the third was under the bed trying to over turn the bed. They were having some resemblance to dinosaurs .It would be in February before I see my wife. I thought of what it will be to die from the beasts fangs. They bruised my check already. She seems to love that part of my body most; probably because she loves to peck me there. Now the beast had defaced me. She was so supportive in co-authoring some part of it and even editing the book but the beasts have soiled the manuscripts with blood from my jaw.
They are scattering the house .the decorations, the frames were fallen from the walls. The roof is reaped open to the vista of the sky.I tried to run towards the stair case but one of them hit me with its tail. I landed on the sofa arm rest .my back ached. The pain was more than the one I felt when I had an argument or fight with Ken. The Jab was serious as the kinds of argument we had last over the manuscript. This almost made us quit the job. We were working from a long distance. We had to communicate
