How to remove warts quickly

Warts can be an uncomfortable and unsightly addition to your body, but thankfully there are ways to get rid of them. The most surefire ways can take time, but if you're desperate to eliminate the problem quickly, there are a few methods that you can try.

As far as over the counter wart treatments go, you can find lotions, ointments and pads that you place over the infected area. Most of these remedies tend to take some time, depending on the size of the wart. Most remedial products you can purchase from the store simply remove the skin affected by the wart virus and over time the wart just drops off. The pads are moist and should be placed over the infected area for around 48 hours and replaced every two days until the work is done. The problem with these is that they are medicated patches that could irritate the skin and have an adverse reaction for people with sensitive skin.

An obvious choice is to see a professional who can perform cryosurgery to remove the warts. Cryosurgery is when tissue is frozen with liquid nitrogen and the warts are quickly frozen off. Alternatively, electrocautery, can be done, which is when an electric needle is used to burn off the wart. While these are quick and effective methods, they can be costly and be very uncomfortable.

For those of us who can't afford an expensive procedure for such a common problem, there are a few home remedies to try. Try applying a paste made of Vitamin C powder daily until the wart has diminished. Sometimes this is enough to get the wart on its way out! You can also try applying a sliced clove of garlic every night for about a week. While this might be a less than beautiful scent, it might do the trick. Duct tape can also be placed on the wart, removed and replaced several times a day. This cuts off "breathing room" for the wart and will eventually force it to die off.

The simplest solution would be to simply soak the wart is very warm water. Not boiling hot, just warm enough that it may be a little uncomfortable. Warts don't do well in heat or water, so the combination of both can be fatal for the little nuisance. While soaking, make scratches in the wart with a needle and apply drops of thuja that has been dissolved in water to the water. Do this as often as you can stand it and this should give speedy results.

Hopefully one of these remedies will prove to be successful and you can continue your life wart free!
