Being a shopaholic, I enjoy buying things for myself. In doing so, I try to find good products at bargain prices for things that are considered necessities so that I may spend the big bucks on the expensive things that I usually have my eye on. I also enjoy looking fabulous, and so I was not hard pressed to investigate my local 'Sally Beauty Supply' store. Inside I found a wondrous place filled with all of the things a gal needs to look pretty, and all at a very fair price. You can not look this great by using Walmart products alone, you know. 'Sally's', has it all, my friend, and one might marvel over how one ever lived without their products.

~Nail care.
The best products that I find at Sally's, are tools for my nails, I find, because I am very particular about what I use on my hair and in my make-up. Sally's offers files of all shapes and sizes, and yes, different grits (which is quite possibly the most overlooked, as well as important option that a file has). You can not have great looking nails just with name brand polishes alone, the tools that you use are just as, if not more vital to the overall appearance of your nails than what polish is upon them.

~'Mane N Tail' Detangler.
With thick hair that tends to become quite unmanageable, this solution was indeed the right solution. I spritz it on my hair before brushing, and it untangles my hair completely, and allows me to style my hair while semi-wet. It is perfect, and it adds a silky feel to my hair as well. This way, I can still use my regular shampoo and conditioners, and keep my regular regime. The mane N tail also does not smell bad or strong, it just works.

~'Tanwise', tanning lotion.
Since I have deemed 'tanning' unhealthy, so that I may look young-ish when I am in my sixties, I have been searching everywhere for a self tanning lotion that...Oh, I don't know...works. I found it here, at Sally's. For twelve dollars, I purchase the six ounce tube that lasts quite a few months, and works phenomenally. It actually works so well, that it only takes literally two applications to give my skin color. It looks as if I am a bit sun-kissed, and if I use it correctly, I can sport a nice tan, without even lounging in the sun at all.

If I wasn't already enamored with my own flat iron, I would suggest any of the selection from Sally's. The store is laid out in a way that makes it easy to find whatever you may need, and the prices are unbeatable. I have even tried their 'Mineral Effects' foundation, which is the poor man's 'Bare Minerals', and it works astonishingly well. I also picked up a great pair of tweezers by 'La Cross', which allow me to manage any stray eyebrow hairs that try to deter me. Basically, if you need something, it is likely that 'Sally Beauty Supply' will have it, and it will be inexpensive.
