I resisted watching "Rock of Love" at first. I'm not the biggest fan of the dating reality shows so I figured the only thing different about this show was that it was a celebrity. There would be drama and catty women who aren't all there for the love but more for the exposure. But then one night nothing else was on and I experienced the glory of " Rock of Love".

Oh, there was drama. There was catty women. Mainly there was a lot of laughs. I couldn't believe these girls. So I started watching every week and I really started to enjoy it. Most of all I started to rooting for Heather to win. This was a first for me. Normally I don't think any of the contestants deserve to win.

Heather just won me over. She seemed to really be there for Bret and nothing else. Sure she provided drama but she was the kind of woman who was up front about everything. Most times the only thing I heard people say against her was that she was a stripper, over and over again. It might not be up there on people's lists of dream jobs but it really isn't something you should use to judge someone on. At the end of the day I would rather a friend who is straight froward and true to herself and who happens to work as a dancer, then someone who is fake or lives to cause drama.

Now I'm not saying she's a saint. I'm sure she caused some drama and maybe stepped on a few toes. I just can't help but like her. Especially compared to a few of the other drama inducing contestants. She didn't try to start fights but held her own when she was challenged. She didn't freak out at the littlest things, and tried to control her emotions.

Sadly Bret didn't pick her at the end of the season. He ended up picking the wrong girl and I guess that happens. Obviously he like Heather because it seems they're friends. Bret even brought her back to check out the contestants near the end of the second season of "Rock of Love". He trusted her to help him, she wouldn't play games and he knew that. That only adds to my admiration of Heather. She could have easily either just moved on or tried to use the trust Bret had for her against him but she didn't.

Recently I heard Bret is going to be doing a third installment of "Rock of Love", this time on a tour bus. It will be interesting to see if Heather pops up again. And if the third time isn't a charm for him maybe Bret should consider just dating Heather because obviously she has the staying power that none of the other contestants had.
